Where can I find the event details?

How much are tickets?

Tickets cost $35 per person or $280 for a full table of 8 people.

Tickets must be purchased in advance through My School Connect - Trivia Night Event

Can I purchase an individual ticket?

Yes. You can purchase individual tickets - if you'd like to sit with specific people please email us at president@balgowniepnc.onmicrosoft.com - We will seat your group together.

How many people can sit at a table?

Tables accommodate up to 8 people. If you purchase a full table, the person who makes the purchase will be used as our contact in the lead up to the event.

Do I need to bring a ticket?

You do not need a printed ticket. The purchaser’s name will also appear on our guest list.

Is the event adults only?

Yes, this is an adults-only fundraising event. All guests must be aged 18 or over.

Do we have to dress up?

Dressing up is encouraged but not compulsory! Choose your favourite decade—from 1970s disco and 1980s neon to 1990s grunge, the noughties or the 2010s.

Prizes will be awardedon the night!

What will happen during the evening?

The night will include:

• General and decade-themed trivia

• Games and bonus challenges

• Raffles and prizes

• Movie Poster Auction, Cake Auction

• Best-dressed awards

• Music and nostalgia from across five decades

Can we bring food and drinks?

Guests may BYO food and drinks

Responsible service and consumption requirements apply throughout the event.

Can we order dinner?

Yes. Guests can preorder pizza from Pizza Jet using a special event code ahead of the event.

Orders will be delivered together to Balgownie Public School in time for the event, with 10% of participating pizza sales donated to the P&C.

Ordering instructions will be shared with ticket holders before the night.

What should I bring?

We recommend bringing:

• Food and drinks

• Plates and cups

• Your trivia knowledge

• Your best decade-inspired outfit

• A charged phone

• Cash or card for raffles, games and auctions

Will cash and card payments be accepted?

Cash and card payments will be available for games, raffles and fundraising activities. Further payment details will be provided before the event.

What prizes will be available?

There will be a range of raffle, auction, game and best-dressed prizes donated by our generous local sponsors and supporters. Prize announcements will be shared on the Balgownie Public School P&C Facebook page and Trivia Night webpage.

Where will the money raised go?

Funds raised will help Balgownie Public School P&C provide valuable resources, equipment and opportunities that enhance learning and school life for Balgownie Public School students.

Is the venue accessible?

If you have an accessibility requirement, please contact the P&C before the event so we can help make suitable arrangements.

Can I change the names of people attending?

Yes. If someone in your group can no longer attend, you may transfer their ticket to another person. Please email president@balgowniepnc.onmicrosoft.com with the purchaser’s name, order number and updated guest details.

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets are non-refundable, but they may be transferred to another person. If the event is cancelled, ticket holders will be contacted regarding the available options.
